118,442. Nissen, P. N. Aug. 27, 1917. Addition to 105,468. Portable buildings; sheet-metal structures.- Portable buildings of the type described in the parent Specification are provided with lantern lights comprising vertical members m, Fig. 1, each consisting of two lengths of angle-iron bolted to the ribs a and braced by stays m<1>, to which they are loosely bolted so that they can fold down to facilitate packing. The other ends of the stays m<1> straddle the webs of the ribs and are bolted thereto. Window frames o provided with sills o<1> are held in place by battens n and bolts y. Pur. lins q support the roof r, and an inner lining s rests on the frames and between the purlins q. Panels v close the ends of the lantern. Oiled fabric or glass may be used for glazing, and the windows are hinged at the bottom to open inwards, stops w limiting the extent of the opening. The spaces within the lantern between the inner and outer sheets are closed bv panels o<2>.
