Abstract

1,122,032. Load limiting arrangements. SANGAMO WESTON Ltd. 24 Nov., 1965 [11 Dec., 1964], No. 50569/64. Heading H2H. In a peak load-shedding arrangement comprising a magnetic or thermal current operated relay 14 disconnecting a load 17 through contacts 16 which may be tapped before or after the relay, the current value is adjustable by a manually operable means freely accessible. Subsequent relays 14a, 16a may disconnect other loads 17a in order of priority. A suitable thermal relay comprising two opposed expansible elements (20, 23), (Fig. 4, not shown), providing ambient temperature compensation is described in the Specification.
