111,693. Symons, A. B. Nov. 27, 1916. Dividing-engines.-Relates to correctors for screws of the type in which the nut or a projection from it follows a curved path by which the nut is turned about the screw to correct the inaccuracies in the latter and consists in making the corrector adjustable from its normal position so that further corrections can be made. As shown a hard steel pin E attached to the nut by which the slider of the machine is actuated is guided in a path formed by the edges of a pair of thin plates F<2> secured to a grooved plate F. This plate is pivoted about a pin H and can be secured in the adjusted position by nuts on studs J moving in curved slots in the supporting plate. A pointer K moving over a scale shows the amount of displacement.
