Abstract

1,116,594. Dispensing liquids by gaseous pressure. W. BRAUN CO. July 1,1965 [July 3,1964], No. 27515/64. Heading F1R. A one-piece actuator cap for a pressurized container comprises a cylindrical body member 12 with flat top walls 16 above a hinged strip 24 which is depressible to actuate the container valve stem. Discharge takes place through nozzle 36 and cap opening 38. The cap is mounted with a snap fit on the valve stem by grooved sleeve 28. A frangible connection may be provided between the hinged strip and the front wall of the cap. The cap may be moulded from polyethylene.
