Abstract

1,114,559. Lamp holders; valve holders. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. 2 Nov., 1966 [19 Jan., 1966], No. 2489/66. Heading H2E. A metal ring 4 with two sets of resilient fingers 5 and 6 is secured to the forward end of a lamp or valve holder body 1, one set of fingers 5 being for snap-fitting in a panel aperture and the other set 6 being for gripping the lamp or valve envelope. In securing the ring 4 to the body 1, it is placed on a flange 3 and the plastics material of the body is deformed, by heat, around its outer edge.
