Abstract

940,785. Labelling. K. J. EASTHAM Ltd. March 2, 1961, No. 7683/61. Heading B8F. [Also in Division A4] A case for a comb, which has a name label on the stock, comprises similar pieces 1, 3 of a flexible sheet material joined together peripherally except for an access opening 11, the piece 1 being apertured at 12 so that the name is visible. The pieces are preferably of flexible plastic, e.g. polyvinyl chloride, heat and pressure sealed 10, a window 13 of transparent plastic being heat sealed in the aperture. In modifications the access opening is on one of the longer sides of the case, the case is tapered towards one end so that a similarly-shaped comb can be fully inserted only in the position in which the name and the aperture 12 are coincident, or, as shown in Fig. 3, an additional aperture 15 with a transparent plastic window 16, is provided in the piece 3 so that the name is visible in whichever position the comb is inserted in the case.
