An egg-box comprises two dished parts 31, 32 pivoted together and a protuberance 35 on a flap 33 of one of the parts and receivable in an aperture 37 in the other part, which also has a resilient flap 36 to engage either the protuberance or the flap to move the protuberance out of the aperture. The protuberance may be a fixed catch on the flap or a strip inserted in an aperture in the flap.
