Abstract

1,076,254. Carrier bag handles. E. S. & A. ROBINSON Ltd. Dec. 23, 1963 [Dec. 24, 1962], No. 48548/62. Heading A4G. [Also in Division E2] A detachable handle for a carrier bag 1, Fig. 2 not shown, comprises a strip of flexible material 4 with a protruberance 7 on one end which passes through holes in the upper edges of the bag and engages an apertured or grooved member 7 at the other end of the strip. Instead of a strip, the handle may comprise a closed loop of material with arms upon which the protruberance and groove are formed. The handle may be formed from plastics material, cardboard, paper or pliable metal.
