Abstract

1,067,176. Carrier bag handles. E. S. & A. ROBINSON Ltd. Dec. 23, 1963 [Dec. 24, 1962], No. 48549/62. Heading A4G. A detachable handle for a carrier bag comprises a closed loop of flexible material provided with a hooked portion for engaging aligned holes in the marginal portions of the bag. The hooked portion may be formed with wings or may be replaced by a flat stud which passes through triangular holes in the bag. Alternatively, a hook may be integrally moulded at the end of the closed loop with its return portion bent round to grip the edges of the bag. The bag-mouth edges may be closed by a flap.
