1375547 Dog drying bags; bags J E DEVEREUX 18 Nov 1971 [18 Nov 1970] 54890/70 Headings A4G and A4V [Also in Division A5] A collapsible bag 1 for drying a dog is made of towelling material and is approximately rectangular in side view when fully extended, the bag being provided with a slide fastener by means of which it can be closed except for a permanent opening 3, to accommodate a dog's neck, provided between the front and top portions of the bag, the slide fastener extending along the rear and top portions to the opening or along the front portion to the opening. As shown, the slide fastener 2 extends along the rear and top portions of the bag. The bag may have a second slide fastener extending along the front portion of the bag. As shown, the bag, when fully extended, has a length at most 1.8 times larger than its height, a length 1.5 to 2.8 times larger than the periphery of the opening 3, the height 1.1 to 1.8 times larger than the periphery of the opening 3, and the sum of the length and height is 1.1 to 1.6 times larger than the length of the slide fastener. Fraying of the material around the opening 3 may be prevented by using a double hem, bias-binding or iron-on tape. The slide fastener may be made of plastics and have rounded teeth.
