1454059 Seats combined with bags; Foldable seats ANTIFERENCE Ltd 13 Aug 1974 35625/74 Headings A4H and A4J A seat has a back of thin flexible material, and a pocket 20 of thin flexible material suspended at its upper edge from an upper part of the back, so as to hang freely in a position spaced rearwardly of the back. As shown, the seat is upholstered by a single sheet of material 10, e.g. canvas or synthetic material, secured around transverse members 11, 13, 7 by stitching 12, 14, 17, the free end of the material being doubled back on itself and stitched at its sides 18, 19 to provide a pocket 20 with an opening 21. The pocket may be formed from a separate sheet of material suspended from member 7 or by U-hooks from the loop formed by stitching 17. Opening 21 may include fastening means, or the pocket may have a closure flap. The chair is foldable.
