Abstract

The padded cover (2) is for an arm chair or settee that can be transformed into a bed. The cover has tapes (5, 6) which are knotted to corresponding tapes (7, 8) on the seat, in the folded position, to hold the cover in place. The tapes can be made of elastic material and those on the seat can be replaced by loops, rings or buttonholes. The front part of the cover has a skirt (3) to cover the base of the seat. Pockets (4) at the back of the curtain hook on to the corresponding part of the seat.
