Abstract

111,426. Harris, M., and Hart, E. April 27, 1917. Joints and connexions.-A joint for wooden parts of furniture such as bedsteads, settees, &c. comprises a plate 4 having a transverse pin 5 for engagement with a bracket 3, and an enlargement 6 by which it is retained in a slot cut in a rail or in a member secured thereto. The bracket 3 has a cross-slot 12 through which the pin 5 is introduced, a slot to receive the plate 4, and inclined surfaces 13 which engage the pin 5 and cause the parts to become wedged together.
