9602. Leitch, A. April 23. Joints and connexions.-A joint for bedsteads &c. comprises a plate c having a pocket d at its lower end and bent outwards at its upper end e, and a plate f secured to a frame member b which has a doubled downwardly-projecting portion h and a portion g bent outwards similarly to the part e. The parts e, g are clipped together by a plate k, which is secured to the member b by a bolt which fixes the plate f. In modifications, the projection h may pass through a hole in the pocket d or may be forked to engage a headed stud t in the plate c.
