Abstract

1,111,652. Endless conveyers. F. PIPER & SONS Ltd. 18 Jan., 1965 [17 Oct., 1963], No. 41110/63. Heading B8A. An endless conveyer 3 for handling concrete mix is mounted on a wheeled carriage with the interposition of a turn-table 11. The conveyer frame is slidable relative to the turn-table at 12. The forward part 3a of the conveyer folds upwards through 180 degrees (Fig. 2, not shown), to facilitate towing using a tow bracket 16. The conveyer may be used as an elevator by supporting the delivery end by a tie-rope. A longer delivery distance may be obtained by arranging the conveyer as an elevator and conveying the material further onwards down an inclined shoot.
