Abstract
1,088,983. Conveyers. A. G. WILD & CO. Ltd. Sept. 1, 1964 [June 4, 1963], No. 22083/63. Heading B8A. A roller conveyer 10 discharges on to a conveyer section 11 which can be raised or lowered on vertical guides by power means not shown. Pneumatically operated stops 12 are provided between the conveyers 10, 11 and stops 13 are provided at the remote end of the conveyer 11. In Fig. 1, the extended stops 13 prevent material from running off the conveyer 11. As soon as this conveyer begins to be lowered, the stops 12 are extended and material is prevented from running off the conveyer 10. When the conveyer 11 reaches its unloading position, Fig. 3, the stops 13 are retracted and material is able to pass on to a stillage 14 or directly on to the floor. The conveyer 11 may be used for raising material from the lower to the higher level. The conveyer 10 may be a belt conveyer.
