Abstract
A metal powder mixture for welding joints (e.g. by flame spraying) consists of nickel powder having a particle size of less than 150 mesh (U.S.) in an amount of 10-50% the balance being a nickel base alloy powder. Suitable alloy powders disclosed are:- .Ni.. .Cr.5-15%.- .Si.2-6%.1-6% .B.1-4%.1-4% .Fe.0.1-8%.0.2-5% .C.0.1-1.5%.0.01-0.3%
