Abstract

A building or tent is erected by disposing at base level successive wedge shaped sectors which are secured to an anchorage 1, the completed sector being rotated upwardly about the anchorage as by means of a jack 6 and a further wedge shaped sector completed therebeneath. The building may consist of more than one series of sectors which, if desired, may overlap, see Fig. 5 (not shown). The ribs 3, 4 of each sector may be of arcuate configuration interconnected by canvas, plastics or metal sheeting.
