Abstract
919,601. Eerecting multi-storied buildings. FAYETON, J., LEFAURE, H., QUILLERY, R., and ETABLISSEMENTS SCHMID, BRUNETON ET MORIN. May 3, 1960 [Jan. 26, 1960], No. 15619/60. Class 20 (1). In the erection of a building, rows of stub posts 6 are supported on a concrete base 1 and superposed concrete slabs 8 are cast between the rows. Rows 2a, 2b, 2c of main posts connected together by cross stays are mounted on the stub posts 6 and pivoted into a vertical position by winches 5 and cables 11. Adjacent rows of posts are connected by temporary bracing while the slabs are successively moved into position by the winches 5 and secured to the posts by bolting or welding or by projections thereon resting on projections on the posts. The temporary bracing may be replaced, 26, Fig. 10, . by a lattice girder 26 of horseshoe shape in plan.
