Abstract

1,100,208. Electric continuous flow heaters. A. ECKERFELD. 29 April, 1965, No. 18149/65. Heading H5H. An electric continuous flow water heater comprises a synthetic plastics material block 1 containing straight ducts 2, 21, 3, 31 interconnected by transverse ducts 4, 5 and by a recess 7 closed by a header 10 containing an inlet and outlet 8, 9, the ducts 3, 3<SP>1</SP> containing heating coils 15. The ducts 3, 3<SP>1</SP> have glass liners 14, 14<SP>1</SP>. A pressure actuated diaphragm switch 20 connected to the ducts through holes 21, 21<SP>1</SP> controls the electric supply to the heating coils. The flow rate can be adjusted by a screw 19 projecting into duct 2.
