Abstract

1,098,259. Containers for chicks. REED PAPER GROUP Ltd. Oct. 18, 1966 [Oct. 18, 1965], No. 44044/65. Heading B8P. A one-piece blank for forming a container for chicks has two rows of panels 3-10 integrally connected at one of the side-forming panels 3, 5, 7 and 9 which are foldable to form two interconnected tubular containers in conjunction with base panel 17 passing through slots 13 in the oblique corner panels 4, 6, 8, 10 and slots 15 in the two interconnected side panels. An end panel 11 in each row is folded over and secured to the side panel 3 and ventilation openings 12, 14, 20 are provided in the corner panels, side panels and in a flanged lid respectively. A pair of double containers may be secured together to form a four-compartment container.
