Abstract

1,088,783. Drying apparatus. VERKSTADS A.B. CALOR. May 19, 1966 [May 21, 1965; Sept. 27, 1965], No. 22395/66. Heading F4G A rotary drum for drying clothes comprises an aperture at each end of the drum for introduction and removal of the clothes and hollow lifter blades 11 supplied with heated air from a header chamber 14 outside the drum, the air passing from the lifter blades into the drum through apertures 12 therein. Each blade 11 has a nozzle 13 at its rear end to assist in removing clothes out of the drum. The air is supplied to the blades 11 only at the period of their upper rotational position.
