Abstract

1,088,610. Roll display stand. W. SCHNEIDER. Nov. 29, 1965 [June 22, 1965], No. 50534/65. Heading A4T. A roll display stand comprises two uprights each having two sprockets and an endless chain 6 with bores 6a through the link pins 6c whereby a toggle device 9 has a pin 9a inserted through a bore and carries an off-set hook 9f engaging the offset spindle 7a on the core 7 of a heavy roll W on the floor beneath the stand. As the chains rotate, the roll is lifted by a hook 9f at each end. On turning a lever 9g the device 9 is rotated about pin 9a and the hook and spindle 7a move up until a pin 8 can be inserted through another bore and into the hollow spindle 7a to support the roll on the chain.
