108,853. Marin, A. J. Aug. 14, 1916, [Convention date]. Explosives.-Relates to ammonium perchlorate explosives, and consists (1) in mixing 72 parts by weight of a mixture of 47 parts of ammonium perchlorate and 34 parts of sodium nitrate with 28 parts of trinitronaphthalene or dinitrobenzene or trinitrotoluene, compressing the mixture to a density of 1.3-1.45 after drying; and (2) in mixing 71 parts of the aforesaid mixture of ammonium perchlorate and sodium nitrate with 29 parts of d:nitrobenzene, and compressing the mixture to a density of 1.25-1.3 after drying.
