1,085,579. Trays; shrink wrap packages. MARDON, SON & HALL Ltd. July 27, 1966 [July 30, 1965], No. 32604/65. Headings B8C and B8P. A cardboard &c. tray, rectangular with rounded corners 16, 17, 18, 19, has one pair of opposite walls 2, 3 comprising extensions 4, 5 bent face to face with the inside of walls 2, 3 and locked in said position, and the other two walls 10, 11 have tongues 12, 13, 14, 15 which form the rounded corner walls and slide freely into and within the slots formed between walls 2, 3 and extensions 4, 5. The base 1 may be folded to form one or more upstanding double walls 21, 22 with a joining flange 23; walls 10 and 11 being either cut at 28, 29, 30, 31 or folded into a ridge (37), Fig. 2 (not shown), to allow the loaded tray to contract when a heat shrink cover is being shrunk on, the flange 23 forming a distance piece between the narrow ends of tapered jars &c.
