Abstract

108,176. Grocock, A. J. July 21, 1916. Cutting and slicing vegetables &c.-A potatoslicing and chip-cutting machine consists of a base a having a strip b secured thereto so that it can be held firmly on a table, and having side strips c to prevent the potatoes slipping off at either side. A knife e is secured by screws f and wing nuts g at the end of the base a, and can be adjusted vertically by means of spring or other washers h. A receptacle i for the cut potatoes may be provided. The potatoes are placed on the base a and forced against the knife e by a handoperated pusher d. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 21794/96 and 2971/15.
