Abstract

1,081,031. Manure spreaders. L. H. SCHULTZ MANUFACTURING CO. March 15, 1965, No. 10880/65. Heading A1D. [Also in Division B2] A manure distributer comprises rotatable blades mounted in a carriage 29 which is movable along a container 10 the manure being ejected through an opening 27a in a casing 27 which surrounds the blades. The blades are rotated by means of a square shaft 33 which is driven from the power shaft of a tractor by means of a shaft 15 and shaft 32. The carriage 29 is connected to chairs 36 which are carried over shafts at the ends of the container and driven by a hydraulic motor 48. The machine may be used to spread artificial fertilizer or may be used for spreading liquid materials.
