Abstract

882,900. Manure distributers. KUCERA, J. B. Sept. 9, 1960 [April 11, 1960], No. 31096/60. Class 6(1). A manure spreader comprising a body 10 and a conveyer 13 for moving material rearwardly is provided with material engaging and spreading blades 42 pivotally mounted between discs 33 fixed to a shaft 28 driven by gearing from a tractor power shaft. As shown in Fig. 5, the blades are mounted at an angle to the shaft 28 and are formed with teeth 45. Manure is uniformly disintegrated by the impact and shear action of the blades 42 and is moved on to an apron 46 comprising upright horizontally diverging plates.
