Abstract

A chooper (10) attached to the emptying and suction valve (11) of a tank (12), has blades (13) with cutters, passing level with the output ducts. The chopper is driven by the tractor power take-off. The function of the blades is to deal with any solids such as draw, hay or silage, and to prevent them from blocking up the distributor system. The burying shares (19) are attached to the tank drawbar, and are adjusted for depth by a double acting ram (20). The shares are supplied with manure through ducts (21).
