Abstract

The manure granules are made from cow manure, contg. more or less straw, which has already been stored for several months and has, thereforE, undergone fermentation. After transport it is stored in a suitable area for 15 days which causes the start of a second fermentation; it is then gathered by a mechanical fork to homogenise the material. The latter is then dried, ground in a hammer mill, mixed with liq. manure, mixed again, pressed and conveyed to sacking hoppers. The prod. rapidly regains its former conditions when ploughed into the soil and wetted.
