In a pliable sectional structure particularly for an 'up and over' type of door or shutter and comprising pivotally hinged adjacent sections having interengaging edge profiles 6, 7 forming a hinge connection, a right-circular cylindrical channel 11 on one profile 6 forming, a bearing sealing for a right-circular cylindrical rib 12 at the end of a web 13 on the other profile 7, the channel 11 is under cut so that more than half of the circumference of the cylinder surface 11 defines the channel and the internal edge 19 lies opposite during assembly or dissassembly, a sectorshaped longitudinal recess 14 in the rib 12, permitting lateral insertion of the rib into the channel seat. The rib 12 may terminate short of the sides of the sections so that in each extremity of the channel 11 the spindle of a guide roller may be inserted.
