Abstract

The door or side-hinged window has a profiled sealing strip fixed in a C- or U-shaped groove in the fixed frame and dividing the chamber between the latter and the hinged frame into two. The sealing strip (7) has a lip (8) extending towards the fixed frame for the entire height of the anchoring groove (5) edge strip (17), and a second lip (11) extending towards the hinged frame (10) and into the path of a sealing rib (9) on the latter. Both lips are concave in relation to the front section (15) of the chamber. The free edge of the first lip (8) can lie near the front wall (16) of the fixed frame (1).
