Abstract

The framework is assembled from two vertical and two horizontal members, the members being metal and provided with two sealing joints and appearing in cross section as a box (9) having one side (12) extended and then bent at right angles (13) to form a channel into which the glazing (23) fits with window padding (22) and the second sealing joint (24) which has at least one supple lip. This extended side has three parallel ribs (14, 15, 16) which define two grooves (17, 18), the first groove serving as seating for the hinge (2) and the second as seating for the first sealing joint (21) which is a supple lip.
