921,987. Hinged slat blinds and shutters. MEYERS TAYLOR PTY. Ltd. Oct. 17, 1960, No. 35517/60. Class 20 (3). [Also in Group XXV] In the slat assembly of blind, awning or shutter &c. of the kind in which each slat 10, Fig. 5, has each longitudinal edge rolled for hooked engagement with an oppositely rolled edge of the adjacent slat, the slats are prevented from endwise relative movement by a pin 16, Fig. 4, provided with a groove 20 forming a shoulder 21 which, when the pin is placed in the inner rolled edge 11 of the two co-operating rolled edges, engages with a tongue 23 pressed on the inner rolled edge 11, at such position that the head 17 of the pin is then flush with the end of the edges 11 and 12 of the slats.
