Abstract

1,080,081. Pipe couplings; valves. AMP. Inc. Jan. 17, 1966 [Jan. 21, 1965], No. 2015/66. Addition to 1,053,629. Headings F2G and F2V. A T-shaped connector, e.g. of nylon or polypropylene, has the ends 4, 5 thereof connected to conduits 1, 2 by crimping ferrules 3, and the end 6, which is internally screw-threaded to receive a valve stem 88, is secured by the crimping of a ferrule 3 to a cap 91. The valve controls flow of fluid between the conduits and has an annular recess 93 in which is disposed an 0-ring 94. In a modification, the conduits are arranged at right-angles to each other.
