Abstract

1,080,018. Earclips. H. W. BRDITSCHKA. March 26, 1965 [April 1, 1964], No. 12823/65. Heading A3H. An earclip comprises a bent member 1 with a mounting for a stone 2 at one end and at the other end a tube 3 in the ends of which the free ends of an ear engaging spring member 6 pivot. The ends of the tube 3 have curved surfaces 5 so shaped that the pressure of the spring member on the ear lobe remains constant whatever the thickness of the ear lobe. In open, released position the spring member engages a notch 8 in the ends of the tube 3.
