1,079,833. Delivery stopping. T. M. M. RESEARCH Ltd. Aug. 19, 1964 [Aug. 23, 1963], No. 33559/63. Heading DID. In a delivery stopping arrangement applied to the forwarding rollers 10, 11 of a doubling device, the upper roller of the pair is mounted on an arm 14 which is upwardly urged by a spring and is normally held against the lower roller by the yarns passing over it. If one yarn breaks the reduced tension is insufficient to prevent the spring raising the roller to interrupt, delivery. Similar arrangements may be provided in twisting, winding, crimping or other processing machines in which an end is forwarded by a driven roller and an engaging roller.
