Abstract

1,076,498. Fuel supply systems. FORD MOTOR CO. Ltd. Sept. 11, 1965, No.38902/65. Heading F1B. In a fuel supply system a restricted by-pass passage 16 back to the fuel tank 11 is provided between the engine 12 and pump 13. A 'Y' connector connects passages 15 and 16 to the float chamber of the engine carburetter. The fuel supply system may include a closed reservoir between the tank 11 and pump 13 as described in Specification 1, 044, 427.
