Partitioning comprises panels P, panes G, and a door D, with all fixed vertical and horizontal joints formed from parallel strips 10 of, .e.g. aluminium alloy, of top hat section, drawn together back-to-back by bolts 13. Synthetic plastics inserts 11 may be used to conceal the bolts. The panels are connected to floor-plates 12 by similar connections, or to the glazed frames or the door frame.
