A ferrite material having a cubic crystal structure and low magnetic loss in the megacycle frequency range has a composition defined by the formula “{Li 2 O.4À5[(1 - x)Fe 2 O 3 .xA1 2 O 3 ]}2yMnO 2 .xCoO where 0 < x < 0À25 0À15 # y # 0À06 0À04 # z # 0À35 In manufacture the constituents are ground, presintered at 800‹ C. for 2 hours, reground, granulated with a polyvinyl alcohol binder, pressed under 1 metric ton per sq. cm., and sintered for 3 hours at a temperature between 1100‹ C. and 1200‹ C.
