1,069,474. Loose covers for seats. RONYLEVOI Ltd. and S. A. BLOXHAM. Feb. 8, 1966 [Feb. 8, 1965], No. 5411/65. Heading A4M. A one-piece loose cover, for completely covering a seat with a back rest, is formed from a plurality of panels secured together at their edges, the lowermost edges of the panels having stitched thereto a closed ring (19) of elastic material which is stretched as the cover is passed downwardly over the seat and finally contracts to draw the lowermost panel edges beneath the seat, and the closed ring being formed from a single strip folded to a U-section around the lowermost panel edges and having its ends secured together. The strip may be of plastics or rubber. The cover may include a portion for tucking-in between the seat and back rest.
