[Also in Division F1] A non-return valve in a submersible pump comprises flaps 18 pivoted at 16 to a valve holder 4 which is formed as a cap-shaped member and sleeve. The flaps seat on the end of the pump housing and their movement is restricted by a stop 12. The holder 4 is mounted on a sleeve 9 carried by the shaft 11 of a multi-stage centrifugal pump and is prevented from rotation by a screw 15. The pump has two rotors such as 3 carried by the shaft 11 and guided by rings 6 and 7. The sleeve 9 is retained by a nut 8.
