896,393. Rotary pumps. BRUNDAGE, R. W. Aug. 14, 1959, No. 27901/59. Class 110 (2). The capacity of a rotary pump of the n and n+1 lobe type is varied by a control member 33 having a hub portion 39 which receives the end of the input shaft 18 and is provided with teeth 41 in mesh with a hand - operated worm wheel 43, a land 35 on the member 33 controlling flow through the outlet conduit 26. The member 33 may be adjusted by an hydraulic motor such as a vane-type motor connected to the control handle or directly to the member 33, the motor being operated through a pressuresensitive valve responsive to the output pressure of the pump.
