Abstract

1,066,510. Endless conveyers. HEWITT-ROBINS INTERNATIONAL S.A. Jan. 14, 1966, No. 1915/66. Heading B8A. A conveyer of which the tail section 11 may be moved away from the head section 10 includes an intermediate section 16 comprising troughing roller assemblies 21 which are supported on upright standards 31 and on arms (36), Figs. 6, 8 (not shown). A bracket (41) on each arm (36) carries removable side rail sections (47) and is adjustably secured to the arm (36) by means of a screw (43) passing through a slot (37). The arrangement permits the angle of the roller assemblies 21 to be adjusted with respect to the run of the conveyer belt 15. The rail sections (47) are located on the brackets (41) by studs (49) and form supports for hanger brackets (57) which carry rollers (26) for the return run (20) of the belt. These brackets (57) are also adjustable longitudinally of the rail sections (47). Further roller assemblies 21, (26), rail sections (47) and standards 31 may be added to the intermediate section 16 when the conveyer is to be extended.
