Abstract

1393313 Conveying articles through liquid RIKEN KEIKINZOKU KOGYO KK 8 Jan 1973 [5 Oct 1972 (2) 17 Nov 1972] 1008/73 Heading B8A [Also in Division B2] An endless conveyer 13a is guided on spaced rails 24 for vertical movement by means of chains 25 and counter weighted at 31. The conveyer is driven from a motor 33 for horizontal movement and a motor 30 which is reversible, controls the vertical movement of the conveyer. In use pairs of such conveyers carry a rack 41 therebetween and are independently movable so that the angle of the supported rack can be altered. For this purpose support rollers 36, 38 are provided on a body portion 37 adjacent one conveyer and the second conveyer has an extensible arm 37a carrying a roller 39.
