Abstract
1,065,701. Filling liquefied gas containers. CONCH INTERNATIONAL METHANE Ltd. Feb. 10, 1966 [March 10, 1965], No. 5832/66. Heading F4P. [Also in Division F1] In a liquefied gas reservoir, Fig. 1 (not shown) having a header (9) provided with nozzles (11) through which liquid is sprayed on to the walls of the reservoir (1) to cause cooling thereof, each nozzle, Fig. 2 (not shown) comprises a tubular element (11) extending through the wall of the header to above the liquid level (17) and having longitudinal slots (16) or rows of holes through which the liquid is forced into the nozzle by the constant pressure of gas above the liquid level (17). The liquefied gas and the pressurizing gas are supplied to the header (9) through a line (8) connected to a liquid line (4) having a flow control valve (5) and to a gas line (6) having an automatic pressure control (7).
