Abstract

1,171,62. Dispensing liquids by gaseous pressure. MILES LABORATORIES Inc. Jan.19, 1968 [Aug. 31, 1967], No.3095/68. Heading F1R. Apparatus for dispensing liquid under gaseous pressure comprises a container having a filling opening with a depending tube 24 to prevent over filling and including cross webs 32, 34 for supporting a gas generating tablet 35, the opening being closed by a plug 42 having a seal 52 which is broken before threads 30, 44 disengage. An outlet tube 43 is attached to an outlet 94 formed in a plug 80 screwed into the bottom of the container and having a seal 92. The tube 43 passes into dispensing valve means 96 supported in a recess 15 and including spring lever means 99 having an end 85 for compressing the tube against a face 87. The tube is connected to a nozzle arrangement 81 adapted to receive inter-changeable nozzles 61.
