Abstract

Nozzles for fluid dispensers comprise a cover for engagement with a reservoir of the fluid having a first portion 1a and a second convergent casing portion 1b with an opening at its wider end adjacent said first portion and an outlet 2 at its narrower end constituting the dispensing nozzle, a column 3 within the casing comprising a central rod 5 which supports a plurality of transversely extending discs 6a-f, which discs contact the inner wall of the convergent casing to form compartments, and means providing communication between the interior of the first portion and a first compartment, between adjacent compartments and between the last compartment and the outlet. The casing is preferably frusto conical, and communication between compartments may be effected by recesses or orifices in the discs, preferably offset relatively about the column by an angle of 90 to 180‹. The support portion may communicate with the first compartment by a bore 7 in the rod 5 and holese 8 in the side of the rod.
