Abstract

1,065,491. Printing-apparatus. MASCHINENFABRIK WINKLER, FALLERT & CO. A.G. June 18, 1964 [June 28, 1963], No. 25227/64. Heading B6C. An inking roller, supported at each end by a ball bearing 4, is adjustably mounted with respect to the machine frame 23 by means comprising a central guide pin 1 provided with a packing 17 at one end and supporting the bearing 4 in slotted guides 2 at its other end, an eccentric sleeve 5 mounted on said pin and provided with an arresting pin 11 located in a bore 10, a sleeve 7 on said sleeve 5 provided with a bore 14 through which an arresting screw 15 projects into a threaded hole 16 in the pin 1, and a guide ring 6 mounted on the pin 1 and provided with an arresting pin 13 adapted to co-operate with the pin 11. If it is desired to adjust the inking roller with respect to more than one friction inking roller, an intermediate member 26 is replaced by a pivoted flange adjustably positioned by screw and slot means, Fig. 6 (not shown). Fig. 10 illustrates an embodiment of an inking roller mounting suitable for adjusting the roller with respect to a printing cylinder with an interrupted circumference. A sliding member having a bore 31 is provided in the pin 1 and a glide member 35 mounted on a pin 34 and springs 33 projects from the bore so that the roller is held in a position corresponding to the rotation of the eccentric sleeve 5.
