Abstract

1304503 Printing apparatus ENTWISTLE CO 23 April 1971 [27 April 1970] 10923/71 Heading B6C A printing apparatus includes a roller platen 47, which rolls across a printing plate, inserted through a slot 23, and a paper form 25. The roller platen 47 is mounted in a hinged cover 14, and can be moved longitudinally of the cover, and so of base 12 and the printing plate, by a handle 78. The roller platen 47 is eccentrically mounted, and its axis can be shifted relative to that of its mounting shaft 48 by rotating an eccentrically bored sleeve 57 by means of a knob 59 which is integral with the sleeve 57, and locked by engagement of a member 134 with a notch 126 in the knob 59.
